Pyrenees Shire Council is a rural council located in the central west of Victoria, nestled in the beautiful surrounds of the Pyrenees Ranges. It is heavily dependent on primary industry and is renowned for its wool, viticulture and forestry activity.
As part of their commitment to improve services for residents, and meet current waste and recycling standards, Council introduced a new waste collection system. It included the introduction of new, colour-coded bins, collection days, and a change to the way residents were required to sort and dispose of household waste. A simple, visually effective guide to these changes was required to assist residents in making a smooth transition to the new system.
Easy to read, colour-coded calendars that communicate the collection dates for each of the bins, with information on the reverse side highlighting items to be disposed in the bins.
